Sunset Lake is thrilled to offer one week of day camp designed for children who are too young or just not ready to enjoy the full overnight camp experience. If you’re looking for a summer day camp near you, this exciting program is a dynamic mix of fun and learning, is conveniently located and affordably priced. The week of day camp runs Monday through Friday with easy daily drop off and pick up (9:00 AM morning drop off and 5:15 PM pick up) to fit seamlessly into your day. Discovery Day Camp
We’re excited to welcome you this summer to our Discovery Day Camp! Each day will be packed with fun activities tailored for this specific age group. Experience a daily adventure that camp has to offer while meeting new friends.

Each day at camp is filled with new adventures. While some details may change during the week, here is a peek at a typical day at camp during our day camps.
9:00 Arrival
9:30 The Big Event (songs, stories, skits, Bible teaching)
10:00 Morning Adventure (Games, Nature Exploration, Swimming, Crafts, Snack Time)
12:30 Lunch
1:30 Rest/Story Time
2:40 Afternoon Camp Activities 1 (swimming, boating, horses, camp store, etc.)

GENERAL PACKING LIST: backpack, water bottle, towel, swimsuit (one-piece for girls), Sunscreen, change of clothes, tennis shoes, water shoes, bag for wet clothes, and optional rest items for 5–8-year-olds (pillow, mat, blanket, stuffed animal...).
